Saturday 9.4.16 3pm KO at the Factory of Absolute Shiteness

Just like the vast majority of our first team squad, I don't know why I'm bothering.

0-2.

Championship here we come.

Excellent opportunity to test ourselves against a team with championship players.

I think we should take time to applaud the team. Not many would have predicted that we would get to nearly mid-April before finally succumbing to relegation. Well done everyone involved and bloody good attempt. VTID.

Getting relegated at home to Bournemouth. It would be a kindness at this point.

After Saturday's fun and games, I'm 50/50 about hacking it down the M6 again. Wallpaper stripping in my Dining Room is looking like the better option currently.

I never WANT us to lose.
But, in this case I really don't want to prolong the agony.
We have accepted so much shit over the last few years. I accepted we would go down back in January.
So, I am more than prepared to lose on Saturday and put an end to this bloody charade of looking like a premier league team.

Routine 2-0 loss - Norwich to win.
Appoint the new manager on Mondayand the rebuild can start.

Chance to do the double over them. We'll lose 0-3 and Westwood will play a lot of square balls.

Agreed. While never wanting to lose I kind of want us to go down next weekend.

a) No point prolonging the inevitable
b) Bournemouth away support will be more bearable than Man Utd's home support.
c) I kind of want a big blow off to let these players no exactly what I think. I am not someone who boo's Villa players, although this season I've no issue with people who do. I feel like Saturday will turn nasty and I think we might need that in order to just let the last two home games be almost enjoyable... particularly if Newcastle are in big trouble when they turn up.

I'm torn on this one - if Black picks a team similar to the one on Saturday then we'll lose comfortably and be relegated before The Grand National starts as all Bournemouth need to do is score first and we crumble

However, if he shows some balls/brains and drops some of the shit like Guzan, Lescott, Sanchez, Westwood and Gil and plays Bunn, Clark, Okore, Lyden, Grealish and Traore then I think we can win this one

Hutton being suspended is a mixed blessing in that it unfortunately necessitates one of Bacuna and/or Richards filling in at right back but at least means we are spared his comedy defending

On the plus side there's only another 7.5 hours of this rubbish to watch after next Saturday...

In a very weird way i am really looking forward to going Saturday.
Agree with other posters that i never want us to lose, but i don't want this to carry on anymore. Just want it all to be official and done and dusted.

What i am intrigued about is what kind of reception our 'players' will get come the final whistle!? I think the majority are just numb to all this now and it will just be mooted boo's and renditions of "You're now fit to wear the shirt"

Roll on the rebuild and planning of trips to Rotherham on a friday night :-(

I don't know... think if we are relegated on Saturday, it could get very very nasty. That said, the main culprits will be down the tunnel before you can blink.

I'm taking my 8-month old son to his first game on Saturday. If nothing else I'll be doing a good job of managing his expectations.
