It's all so depressingly similar to today. One ray of sunshine came out of it, the arrival of SGT.
I think I was lucky in that my time home from sea that season never coincided with when we had a match so I was spared the drudgery of going to games to watch us lose every time.

Well I was only six when it happened so...

The bet part about that piece was the interviews.  Two good pros speaking sense.  The rest was light weight Sky fluff, and the choices of music were lame.
