The last time we were relegated.

It's all so depressingly similar to today. One ray of sunshine came out of it, the arrival of SGT.
I think I was lucky in that my time home from sea that season never coincided with when we had a match so I was spared the drudgery of going to games to watch us lose every time.

Lucky you.

Us landlubbers had to witness it in all its glory.

I do not know if I feel better for having watched that - or worse.

Well I was only six when it happened so... :D

The bet part about that piece was the interviews.  Two good pros speaking sense.  The rest was light weight Sky fluff, and the choices of music were lame. ::)
