The stewards at the back of the Holte have come in for some stick and a group moved in right at the end yesterday - no banners but I don't think they like us banging the seats...

Gil is rubbish really. Good control and does the odd nice looking thing but most games he offers less than nothing. He's like a shitter Nathan Redmond. It's no wonder we're screwed when he's one of our most potent attacking threats.

You have to be careful saying that sort of thing round here - there's still plenty on here who think he's a footballer rather someone who actually works in a tapas bar and has borrowed a shirt off one of his customers.

Of course he is - and  I was agreeing with it as I thought I'd made very clear.

Gil seems to me to lack any acceleration so, despite having quick feet, having no turn of pace means that he rarely gets away from anyone.

Agreed.

His touch is poor too - as I've said before and was derided for.  By that I mean he doesn't use his first touch to move the ball into space from where he can beat a man or create something.  Without pace or touch he's a basket case when it comes to playing attacking midfield.

Gil for me,  (along with Hutton, Westwood and Cissokho), for all their involvement, effort and busy-ness, produce absolutely zero end product. I would much rather we gave Green and other young players a start ahead of these tired excuses for footballers.

well just watched MOTD . yes we were rubbish could have been 3 down at HT but I must say when spurs took the free kick for the first goal , I would have liked it to be taken where the foul actually took place.

The club is like a turd that has somehow resisted numerous flushes - but has now crept round the other side of the u-bend: awaiting the inevitable final flush into oblivion.

So many congratulations to Lerner, Fox & Co. You've really done us proud.

I said to watch his hair the day he signed, and compare it to the day he leaves. I reckon he'll look like Ian Lavender by the time he bails.

We have a lot of poor players that are not up to the standard required for the Premier League today. However, I do not go along with the abusive comments when they are playing somewhere near their ability level. I would save that for players that are either not trying or deliberately causing trouble.

We have too many players that have flattered to deceive e.g. Hutton running up the wing a lot covering the fact that other areas of his game are poor, Guzan's great saves hiding poor distribution and decision making, Westwood's neat and tidy hiding weaknesses that are essential in the position he plays, Gill's neat play at times hiding his lack of penetration, pace and physical weakness etc., etc.

Fans naturally take a liking to players for varying reasons and defend them by criticising others. It has always been like this and probably always will be but we have to be honest with ourselves on the true ability and what they bring to the team. We have to take the opportunity with relegation and the bit of a 'breather' it gives us to clear the decks.

Admittedly only seen highlights on MOTD but we could have been 4 or 5 down at half time despite a supposed improved performance. I'd be surprised if we got a single point between now and the end of the season, these players are disgraceful.
