We are a shell of a Club right now, totally defeated and now paranoid about the paying customers - what a disgrace.

Just 6 pages of post match thread.  If that doesn't just demonstrate to apathy levels then I don't know what does.  There's just nothing left to say.

Just got back.
For the first time in 30 years I didn't want to be there and that makes me incredibly sad. I only went because my brother in law Spuds fan reminded me of an 18 years old promise!

I felt huge amnosity towards every single player. Somebody shouted at Lescott getting off the coach "what car do have now".

Hey Ho Silver playing pre-match nearly brought a lump in my throat as I remembered the better times (you know when we'd have a shot on goal).

When the players names were read out - nobody cheered. They warmed up in the corner of Witton and Holte well away from the hardliners probably.

Thought Gana played well and Gil in flashes. Rudy was basically a lump. The space that Rose had in the first half was shocking.

Ayew hit a shot that looked more in anger than technique. Shame they almost made it to half time scoreless so then it was a question of how many.

Some real nasty spuds sitting behind me cheering loudly and basically taking the piss out of our club the whole game in the upper trinity which was sparsely populated.

You just carry the pain as the other Villans do, shrug in resignation and hope somehow better times lie ahead.

Wow
I thought he had a shocker

Agreed, absolutely abysmal, managed to pass to one our players around twice in the game. Has regressed massively this season, no killer ball and extremely lightweight. Definitely not made for the Championship.

Gil is rubbish really. Good control and does the odd nice looking thing but most games he offers less than nothing. He's like a shitter Nathan Redmond. It's no wonder we're screwed when he's one of our most potent attacking threats.

I genuinely think we may not earn another point this season.

Might scrape a draw somewhere along the line. Can't see us winning.
A draw against the Toon, depriving them of the points they need to stay up, would be the sole source of pleasure this season

5 defeats on the bounce. Normally Villa fans would be up in arms, now it is our version of normal service resumed.

And only 7 goals scored in our last 12 games I believe. Pat Murphy's 'month of the goal' quip is beginning to gather pace.

Only 5? That's a decent run for us.

Don't really want Leicester to win the league, but if these wankers win it , it will almost be as bad as chavski lifting the European Cup.

Hutton and Cissokho are right up there as some of the worst full-backs I've ever seen, absolute dog shit players.

How anyone thinks they "put in a shift" is beyond belief. The reason why it seems they work hard is because they're always out of position, so they've gotta work twice as hard to still fail. Calling them brainless would be too kind.

It's been four decades since I've been to a Villa game and am amazed that security is that tight, in days past security wouldn't dare take banners away from supporters. It really is a dictatorship isn't it when the freedom to protest is removed, just shows how small minded our once great club has become.

Even getting in to the ground is like gaining access to North Korea.

8 stewards - coat searches - hand held metal detectors.

It's getting less and less recognisable as the place I love every week .

I'm going to North Korea on holiday next month (yes really).  I'll let you know how it compares.  I'll be with an Albion supporting mate - I hope we get relegated while we're there and neither of us know about it for the whole week so by the time he finds out he can't be bothered taking the piss (to be fair he can't really be bothered now anyway - we are that incompetent...)

Same old same old, predicted on the pre match that we would let one in and the next one would be within 240 seconds, only half time ruined that.
Nice to see Richards and Gabby dropped and if that does not highlight exactly who the main culprits working on the inside disrupting are, god knows what will, every time Garde has the options them to go.
The increase in security entering the ground they can hide behind terrorist threat, but surely a banner can not be classed under this, so they should have no right to stop them coming in or being displayed as long as there are no profanities on it, the only danger they present at Villa Park at the moment would be supporters wanting to hang themselves with them.

Ayew is a central forward not a wide player so that is down to Garde but we have two full backs who cannot cross a ball and when they are caught on the counter attack we do not have the pace for other players to cover them. The only option I can see is to get another big bodied player up front with Gestede
and play Ayew behind them.

Modern Liberal Democracies seem very keen on freedom of speech providing you're using the same hymn sheet.
