Garde sat their motionless. What a gutless plonker.

I'll say this again, sooner or later it's going to kick off at Villa. Things might have been better channelled into a peaceful, organised protest.

Andre Green gets my vote for player of the season.

You know what, that's actually an idea.

I'm in too.

Spurs manager should be sacked for resting players midweek. Why?

Put Sir Brian in charge for the last games. Don't worry about results. We're down. Garde is gone in May anyway, he might as well go now. Play some kids. Results actually can't get any worse anyway, so we might as well.

It says a lot about previous perfomances, but the work and effort put in today was a marked improvement. However, still not anywhere near what an Aston Villa team should be delivering.

I wouldn't want Sir Brian's reputation soiled by this shower of shite.

Why did I keep Agüero as my Fantasy captain, and not put Kane in with the Triple Captain option?

It takes some special kind of skill to hit the woodwork from only a couple of yards.

Gana again very good but he just surrounded by shit , Veretout , Westwood and Gil alongside him all tidy enough  but no strength and no pace.

We are so physically lightweight and not just this season its been like this for a while.

Gestede is a donkey , he really offers so very little no one can get round him as he can't hold the ball up and he can't run in behind.High balls into box he might be a little effective but really he is not up to this level.

I don't think it would be soiled. We'd just give him 8 games with a free pass. Then come the summer he and the board can get together and work to identify a manager who could actually pull us together. Garde clearly wants out. It just seems pointless him staying and half the squad clearly won't lift a finger for him.

Agreed. It doesn't help having a donkey up front playing alongside a spoiled schoolboy. The less said about Sinclair the better. At least Green showed great promise.

Overall a hard working performance from all but against the quality of Walker and Kane, we were never going to get anything today.
