had to settle for watching this live on SKY. We played pretty well first half, they took control second and then scored a classic long ranger which any other season Peter Atherton would have put over the crossbar. It took me a while to get used to seeing someone else running BFR's team but as we all know it turned out ok in the end.

When you read the jokes about us helping players break goalscoring ducks, I always think of this game. Atherton hadn't scored for about four years and then twatted that one in to the top corner! I was only 12 but remember it well, I too watched it on Sky round my mate's place and his mom shouted for a penalty when one of our players was brought down outside the box.

Ugo looked hopeless back then, had he just broken into the team...Bozzy's kicking aswell was so poor wasn't it for a top class keeper.

I spoke to Sir Brian in the North Stand car park before the game and said good luck. He said "thanks" and shook my hand. I love him.
