Defeated before a ball was kicked. No psychological strength at all. The team, management, board and owner have all given up.  The fans I hope will never give up.

The only feint, tiny spark of something maybe to be happy about - the possibility of dragging the geordies down with us on the last day of the season.

Which would instantly decrease our chances of coming back up.

The fans are the only positive about our club still left.  I really feel for all those that made the effort to go today.

We'll have much bigger problems than Newcastle to contend with in the Championship. Most of them within B6.

He's been much maligned since his arrival, but it is time for Hollis to start acting.  He needs to be proactive and making changes ASAP.

This club has NO CHANCE of comming back up anytime soon. Losing is too ingrained in these players, especially those who've been here for years. And if/when we did/do get back and Lerner is still here, we will be exactly back where  we are  now, pretending we shop at Harrods but actually shopping at Poundland.

Totally numb to the whole thing now. The only point I now look out for is to see how many goals the other side have scored - the rest is sadly predictable.
Anyway, I'm just about to watch Watford vs Leicester - two poxy clubs with mediocre players who are both doing very well. Good organisation on and off the pitch, great team ethic and players who aren't scared of their own shadows. Unlike watching Villa, it's nice to start a match without knowing that it will be a humiliating trouncing.

Yep, I'm watching Dortmund v Bayern. It's just nice to see a game where either side is actually capable of winning.

Beautiful example of how they can't even get the very basic things right, AFVC...

What continues to make this worse for me is that the teams around us keep losing as well. It makes our January surrender even more galling. If we'd have picked up two or three more wins since the window closed we could be out of the bottom three. It's unforgivable.
