Piss poor 2nd half with Keystone Cop defending.  Sell them all.

The only feint, tiny spark of something maybe to be happy about - the possibility of dragging the geordies down with us on the last day of the season.

Last home game you mean?

Last game is Arsenal away. Kind of fitting as that was the first game under Lerner, when we thought it would be so different.

Gana had completely given up by the end.  Was just strolling round not even pretending to try.

MON would no doubt comment, "I thought we played some scintillating football at times and feel unlucky to come away without our share of the points".

The reality is we are useless and deserved nothing. Worse than that, we went out of our way to make it easier for them. It's incredible to think we spent £50m last summer. We'd be lucky to get £25m for the whole squad today.

I remember being in the away end that day, chanting "Villa are back, Villa are back" as M.O.N and the players came over at the end. Bright future....

That's what I'm clinging to. It'll be like when psychopath prisoners smear themselves in their own shit before attacking the warders.

That's the best post Villa match post in a while

9 cup finals

We'll lose 36-0 on aggregate based on our last cup final.

Nice message on Twitter from Man City about how good our supporters were today.

89. Credit to the @AVFCOfficial fans who've not stopped singing all afternoon. Not easy for them, as #mcfc fans of a certain age will know!

If you include last season, it's 21 defeats in 31 league games 😳

I noticed that. Fucking disgusting, but a reflection of the club. It can't be arsed.

Oh they're going. They are every bit a shambles as we are. And that's on top of lashing out £30m in the window. They will fire McLaren tomorrow I imagine but that dressing room is every bit as split as ours with absolutely no leadership at the top. When the club is filled with finger pointers you get Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Both clubs with transfer committees. Both clubs with the brainwave of "lets concentrate on Ligue 1 - they're cheap and they have great value players". Genius.
