Last desperate act should be sack Garde now and appoint Pearson.

McClaren will be available tomorrow.

Could we be any worse if didn't have a manager for the rest of the season?

  • "I'm a believer mate" but only just.
Has any established premiership club ever gone into a nose dive like this?

Disappointed. I think we might be going down this season.

The only feint, tiny spark of something maybe to be happy about - the possibility of dragging the geordies down with us on the last day of the season.

Bloody Aguero and his missed penalty - I had him captained in my Fantasy Footie team!

We've lost 4 in a row and taken 3 points out of 18, and are still only 9 points from safety. Considering how gash the 3 above us are it's taking a special level of shitness to be in this position.

Oh they're going. They are every bit a shambles as we are. And that's on top of lashing out £30m in the window. They will fire McLaren tomorrow I imagine but that dressing room is every bit as split as ours with absolutely no leadership at the top. When the club is filled with finger pointers you get Aston Villa and Newcastle.

If the Geordies's  need 3 points in the last game of the season to stay up then they can breathe easily.

I couldn't help but glance at the table at half time, and was surprised to see we were still only & points from safety. It shows that if we had just fluked a win and a draw from somewhere earlier this season we'd still be in it. It shows that in a season with 3 of the worst teams in memory in Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich we will be cut adrift at the bottom. Embarrassing.

That's what I'm clinging to. It'll be like when psychopath prisoners smear themselves in their own shit before attacking the warders.
