Probably worth sticking a tenner on Man City to score in the first 15 minutes?

Man City to score within five minutes. It'll be three-nil by the half hour. If we can hold it down to six by full time we'll be smothered in glory.

Has the snake dipped his tail in something caustic?

I wonder what team he'll be selecting when it's mathematically proven

If we concede early I really do worry for us.

Soccer Saturday panel in making salient point about the Villa shock! Not only did they slaughter the players for the stuff coming out about not liking Remi's training methods, they asked how come Remi keeps playing the exact same players who have been continually letting him down. 'Why not play some of the kids,' they chimed. 'They can't do any worse now can they?'

These are the players who got Villa into this mess, so they should be the ones who suffer the indignity of being on the pitch as relegation approaches. Why play the kids and have them be associated with this debacle

I'd be starting to give some of them a run out, just to see how they do and if they show potential. Not a game like this admittedly where it's likely we'll take a tonking.

Any of the kids who are thought to be able to play a part for us next season should be going out on loan to Championship clubs now to get a taste of the level they're going to play at.

Would have played Sinclair instead of Gabby.

If we can just see out the first 5 minutes there will be a moral victory of sorts.

The only shock is not seeing Bacuna start. Same shit, different day.

They're employed by Aston Villa. We're all associated with this debacle whether we like it or not. And while I wouldn't want to expose five or six of them to a thrashing or a poisonous VP, like everybody else I'm sick of seeing Guzan, Gabby, Westwood, Bacuna, coming back in/being selected every week...and doing absolutely fuck all. Playing a couple of youngsters and maybe bringing one or two on from the bench would give us all a bit of a lift and give them some experience about the step up they're going to face next season.
