If we score a goal and they score less than twelvety it will be a moral victory and I will dance a jig naked around a bonfire in Manor Farm Park chanting "Villa are back, Hello, Goodbye".

And no doubt Micah Richards will the next in the long line of Villa employees to wave, smile and generally gush at opposing fans whilst his side bends over to be royally shafted by his former club.  A post match tweet about how great it was to be back at 'his' club wouldn't go amiss either.

File alongside D. O'Leary, G. Houllier and R. Wilkins.

Selfies with Lescott no doubt

I am going to this one as have a free ticket off one of the city players, can't say I am particularly looking forwards to it though. Can see us on the wrong side of a heavy defeat.

I remember seeing us get unexpectedly spanked by city at Villa park once, with David White playing out of his skin for them. That time I was shocked as was expecting a win. This time I would be more shocked if we played well.

Ok it's a nailed on home win but I'd like to see Gestede up front instead of Flabby. At least he tried last night. He's always a nuisance in the box and Ayew could profit from his knock-downs. We would still have a shit defence and midfield but at least we might have more chance of scoring. Oh,  and over 2.5 goals is a no brainer for this one so at least we can make some money out of our misery.

Gestede nuisance in the box errr no he isn't I could out jump and win the ball in the air against him and I'm only 5 foot 5.

Ayew profiting from Gestedes knock downs??? Unless they've abolished the out of play rules and Ayew can stand in the crowd to receive the knock downs then there is as much chance of that as Garde motivating the players.

If you're going up there tomorrow give the Etihad a swerve and go to Media City instead to watch the marathon 5 aside for Sport Relief I'm certain it'll be a lot more enjoyable than watching another abject surrender.

I am having nothing to do with the fixture tomorrow. I will be trying to win tickets in the amusement arcade, swimming, bowling and watching the Rory the Tiger show. Infinitely more enjoyable.

7-0.

Gestede knocked the ball down for an Ayew shot from the edge of the box in the second half Tuesday - it was of note because it happens so seldom. He also scored with his head. The other eye-opener was two great crosses from Cisshoko in the first half...

Tomorrow is going to be about as enjoyable as root canal surgery without anaesthetic.

I've put Sagna and Kompany back in my Fantasy League defence, and made Aguero captain. That's probably our best hope of getting anything out of it.

I'm going tomorrow and looking forward to it ( even though i know we will loose 5 , 6 or 7 nil )
I will have a good drink before the match , a sing song in the ground and at half time ,
then after the match ,something from a chip shop and  at least another 6 pints before train back to brum at 9pm

wow that's impressive he's able to knock the ball about, shame it's only when the game is over as a contest and the opposition are just holding us at arms length, if it was 0:0 or 1:0 to everton at the time he scored that goal wouldn't have happened.

I have never seen a player that is worse then Rudy Gestede regardless of who this committee signed i'd sack the lot of them just for signing Gestede.

So far 16 people think we are going to win this.

Drugs or indomitable optimism?
