I'll be shocked if we get any sort of a result with that line up. Fortress  Villa park eh. These days it's more like the Kray's wandering into a junior school playground and relieving the kids of their dinner money.

And the prize for the least creative team ever is awarded to that line up.

I mean whatever line up we put out is shit, but Bacuna over Veretout is odd.

Pleased to see Ayew back and Bunn dropped. Apart from that...

Veretout has been really poor in the last 2 matches as well. That said, he could have had more license to play between the lines in that formation and surely either he or Gil had to play as a more attacking midfield option. Why do we need to play 3 defensive midfielders when we have five defenders? All for Garde trying a new formation and he has to pick between cold vomit, warm piss and runny poo but I just can't see this working.

Veretout's probably knackered doing the job of two midfielders

He hasnt tried a leg last couple of games either tbh

dreadful team

Let's be honest, it really doesn't matter does it?

I think it's as good a team as we can muster with a better looking attacking threat. As for bacuna, yes he's poor, but he can put in a shift from time to time. I only think we'll lose 3-1 now.

I think he means the line up doesn't matter and it really doesn't. There's no magic formation and selection out there where we are not really shit.
