Garde will probably go with the the same selection at Stoke. I just wish he would try something different as we are likely to lose anyway. If he does it will probably be Grealish. Still he will be able to watch a proper midfielder from close quarters. I hope Gareth Barry performs well for them.

Another nail in the coffin. We're so bad, even Cleverley will score. Us 2, them 7

What a load of tosh. As if we will score twice!

Well surely it tosh because we've been down long before this game.  I'll be honest if I actually thought that there was a chance of a 2-7 scoreline I'd watch it! haha.

Was thinking of going but the atmosphere between players and supporters now has put me off. Saved me a fair few bob as well. Don't think we will get hammered. Apart from the very top of the league there is little to choose between the also rans.  That's the fuckin frustrating part. We are totally completely shit but only a few teams can really take us apart.

Oh I think there are quite a few actually and Everton are one of them, its just that they will go there to do a job and if they can do it without breaking much of a sweat and reserve some for coming games all the better for them.  I see a strong away win, but not a thrashing.

Garde said after the performance the players put it at Stoke there's unlikely to be changes.... Ok.

0-3 defeat.  No further comment is needed or can be made on the ongoing debacle that is Aston Villa.

I think the 20% who have voted that we won't lose are obviously on the wrong club thread. Maybe, if they actually come to one of the AVFC matches, they will be much the wiser!!!

On a more serious note, the Sunday Mercury today have picked up on the story about the fans having a mass walk out on 74 minutes. If I last that longg, I will certainly join them!

I hate our owners. About time Lerner addressed his 'customers' and apologised for wrecking the club. Bet he won't though. 0-2

Comfortable away win I would have thought.

Everton win 2-0 without breaking sweat.

I'll have whatever Martinez is drinking.  I agree about the effect goals have though.

“The way they [Aston Villa] start games, they are really strong and fully focused but the goals [they concede] probably have a bigger effect than it does on other teams.

“They have been unfortunate in many situations.”
