'Should we shout, should we scream
"What happened to the post ellis dream?"'

Or off that album The Gunner's Dream for Mr Fox.

I wanted to analyse the lyrics of that album for my O Level English Lit coursework but wasn't allowed to.

As good a political diatribe that's ever been set to music as you'll ever find.

The other track contender on that album is Get Your Filthy Hands Of My Club (Desert) - The Maggie lyric in the last line should maybe give a few folk food for thought.

Other Floyd tracks that fit.

Money
Us and Them
Goodbye Cruel World
Comfortably Numb - at least we should be by now.

He loves a political diatribe does Mr Waters. I saw The Wall at Wembley Stadium a couple of years back and he still loves a rant.

Your old teachers should be ashamed Redsox. I love that album.

It's not a song but the groan at the end of production sign-off at the end of "Taxi" hits the spot.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWo2DfMfLfM

Morrissey songs:

Angel, Angel, Down We Go Together.
You Have Killed Me.
There is a Light That Never Goes Out.
You're Gonna Need Someone on Your Side.
Nobody Loves Us.
One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell.
Sorry Doesn't Help.

I've never quite understood why it is underrated. I wasn't around in '83 so I've just had a look on the ever reliable wiki to see what was said. Seems Gilmour wasn't a big fan either. Smiley face.
