That's good going, as it hadn't been taken up in full the past couple of seasons.

Lots of new grounds to visit and potentially pathetic allocations.

Think I worked out that Burton would give us an allocation of about 700, so if you're not in the away scheme you're unlikely to get a ticket to that one.

It's more like 1400-1800 at Burton.

Lowest allocation will probably be 1100 at Brentford, although the games midweek in Feb. Preston, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Wednesday and newly developed Bristol City should all be 4-5000. Blackburn won't be a problem either. 1800 for Forest will be one of the most sought after, I'd have thought. A lot will also depend on away games being moved to a weekday night for Sky.

I've mostly had my head in the sand about the fact we got relegated but every now and again realisation dawns.

Are we seriously in the same division as Brentford?  I'd been kidding myself that it'd be like the 1st division in the late 80s, early 90s with Wednesday, Leeds, Newcastle, Forest, Derby, etc.  But Brentford?!

First Lge game against Brentford since 59-60. That was also in the second tier.

They only give you just over half of the lower tier these days. Started off as a tit for tat with Derby a couple of years ago, and they've kept it going since.

Glad I went to the pre season friendly a couple of years back. I never really pictured us having a league match against them !

Huddersfield is midweek too. We might struggle to shift 4-5000 on a Tuesday night in March....

The latest (unconfirmed) story is as low as 650 for Burton.

Can't see it being less than the 1400, the away end holds. 400 seats are usually made available too.

Incidentally, what the fuck are Wednesday playing at?  Less than four weeks til the game up there and they haven't even announced ticket prices yet.

Is this the level of professionalism we can expect from the Championship?  I bet Burton have got their tickets on sale for the first game of the season.
