would be nice if they contemplated reimbursing us poor mugs who have thrown money at them for the past 5 years.  It won't happen, at best it will be price freeze with added bonus of 4 free games.  On a Tuesday night..

based on the fact that of our £117 million turnover ST sales equate to about £13 million I have thought for years that we should have a top price of say 350 quid for a ST and get 35K season ticket holders and a full house every week

However with the sky money about to be drastically reduced I wouldnt be surprised if they go up

With a bit of fore thought from Lerner & Co., had they done their sums in the summer, they would have come to only 1 possible conclusion. With the sale of Benteke and "The Snake", they should have broken the Bank to ensure we got quality players who would not only have kept us in the division but, also finished higher than half way. Mr Lerner (and, you do NOT have to pay me for this vital accountancy lesson!!) in the summer you should have spent anything between £100 to £150 million, therebye, finishing in a healthy league position and earning multiples of the aforesaid amount, as clubs are rewarded for their finishing league position + Oh YES, the small matter of the TV money, if we had stayed in the Premier League. Now, Mr Lerner, that's not rocket science is it?? You invest a certain sum and, virtually guaranteed to quadruple that outlay - I know I would have taken that gamble as. it was not much of a gamble as a near as certain as you could get.

The only thing that Randy Lerner cares about is money.

The only power we have as fans it to withhold our money by not renewing - either completely, or until the club have spent sufficient money on new players and made necessary changes to the infrastructure of the club over the summer.

They're going to be an interesting "sell" this summer, aren't they?

I don't think they'd be as bold as that.
