They do look weak at defending set pieces so hopefully we will exploit this.
We have no big striker available to score from set pieces. We had Benteke but sold him to another PL club didn't we?  We can get the big guys up for corners/free kicks but I hope to god the coaches have been working on our delivery.

The delivery for Lescott's goal against Norwich was excellent.
Sure was. So was Traores for Gils brilliant volley at Sunderland. But overall the delivery this season has
been piss poor and needs working on.A LOT.

thought the way they finished the game against West Ham was ominous

Sturridge was outstanding and Benteke looked a new player next to him

a repeat of that kid of form up top would be too much for us

to be honest they are bang average elsewhere in their team

but unless that win at the weekend has given us a serious confidence boost, we wont be good enough to take advantage

as an aside, Milner has been a huge disappointment for them this season

If Sturridge plays, the absolute no-brainer of a bet this weekend is for him to score against us.

Or maybe a display of sulking.

And dislocate both shoulders whilst doing so. He will also be ruled out for the next 93 matches with 'hurt feelings' after the Holte End sang something nasty about him, his next match for Liverpool will be against Aston Villa at Anfield where he will score and then injure himself etc...

Yep it seems like he's only ever fit when it's time to play us now and he has a blinder.

Can't see a win given our non existent attacking prowess but by god, I'd love it if we won just to shut that twat Lawro up.

Just can't call this one at all. A draw seems a possibility, particularly after Plop's midweek cup marathon.

Yes, the biggest twat on the airwaves and perennial Villa hater.
