Just in from the mountains. Had a great day. Normally I would be expecting us to spoil it. I'm well past that now.

For the sons of Gaul amongst us: Veretout - is it pronounced, as the commentators do, 'Verr-tu' or should it be 'Ver-e-tu'?

That's the key for me, I don't mind us not making many chances in live play right now, we've clearly not got a striker to take the chances and we're concentrating on keeping ourselves in a solid defensive shape.  I can live with that for the time being if we're making the most of set pieces, the one that Gil put 5 yards over the bar needed to hit the target and we need to give ourselves a chance with wide free kicks and corners.  If we put them in well Lescott and Richards will score goals for us.  It might not be enough but it really should've been a key part of the work on the training ground all season, when you add Kozak and Gestede we should be one of the strongest sides in the league for set plays.

Either. "Verr-tu", as you put it is correct but people in southern France might say "Ver-e-tu".

For all the talk of Leicester being unlikely winners of the title, if it stays like this we are only 37 points behind them with 13 games left to play...the dream is still on!!

Sky reckon his 2nd goal of the season. Does that mean the Palace winner now officially an OG?

Won't it be our luck that if we win today our closest rivals will too. And like the game this week it would have been great to pick up three points and we managed to not take advantage. Still we can only do our bit today.
