If Andi Weimann was still at the club he'd be far and away the best forward on the books. That's how poor we are up front.

Selling Weimann is strange one really, we got peanuts for him, presumably we weren't paying him much, but he was at least a known quantity. To think that we put all our goalscoring eggs in the basket of Gabby, Sinclair, Kozak and untried Gusted and Ayew is pretty amazing.

Weimann can't get a look-in at Derby, nice lad but not worth the mourning/morning.

He wasn't great, that's for sure, but when you look at the pathetic lack of cover we have I wonder why we let him go.

This is where we miss Ayew. If only we had him, Amavi and Adama, even Kozak. What a joke not buying or loaning a striker - well done Almstadt, Fox and Hollis!

Just in from the mountains. Had a great day. Normally I would be expecting us to spoil it. I'm well past that now.

Usual Villa stat approaching half time - shots on target ZERO

My post must have touched a nerve, a shot on target  :D
