Aston Villa vs Norwich City Pre-Match Thread
« on: February 03, 2016, 01:02:26 PM »
Don't want to dwell on the West Ham defeat with ten men too long, and although this game will be tougher without Ayew, I think we will win this one.

Would help if Kozak and Sanchez were back to fitness, to replace Ayew and Bacuna.

Hope springs eternal, but it's hard to see who'll score any goals for us unless we eventually get a penalty, which given our luck will probably be missed.

Would it be worth playing Grealish in a very advanced free role with the licence to get beyond Gabby?

With a decent striker available I would have us down to win comfortably, but now it has nil-nil written all over it.

I hope Bacuna doesn't play. i thought he was very poor last night.
And i would play Jack. I don't know what's been going on re attitude, etc., but he has class and can open things up.

                   Bunn

Richards   Okore   Lescott     Cissokho

                Veretout  Gana

Sinclair           Grealish          Gil

                   Agbonlahor

Guzan, Clark, Richardson, Lyden, Bacuna, Gardner, Sellars

That bench is depressing.. Are Hutton/Westwood/Sanchez/Kozak/Anybody likely to be back for this?

gone for a villa win as finally we might have some luck.
TaxDodger's line up might work.

Also the missus supports Norwich and it was really fun driving in Norfolk ( & listening on local radio) when they beat us 2 - 0  :-\ so I hope I get some personal payback.

And we have bought some players in the transfer window and Norwich didnt so they'll regret that.
Oh......  ::)

Don't think we'll lose but that is about as optimistic as I can get. See the noses are are home as well on Saturday  to Sheffield wed. .seems a bit strange that. Certainly hope those  knuckledraggers  don't upset the ambience of my pre match drinks in bham.
