I don't mind that goal. We are 10 men, losing and threw everyone forward for a corner in the last 5 minutes. Not much to blame

Exactly

Yup, we were doing the right thing.

I've long since reached the stage when I just laugh at the latest incompetence.  One day - perhaps a long time hence - when we're winning matches again, we'll look back at all this and try to comprehend as to whether it really was as bad as it actually is.   One things for sure, the young uns won't believe us.

Nice of Bunn to lie down in front of the West Ham forward there
In his defence we look so much more composed with him in than Guzan. He has made 3-4 really good saves tonight as well, in a 1-1 like that I reckon the keeper would probably stop maybe 1 in 10?

Richards has had a surprisingly good game tonight, probably our best

all have battled pretty well, with the exception of Bacuna and Gil to mention two who seemed to leave their bottle behind at half time

I get the Garde comments (head held high etc) and I get that it's because he's been shafted by the board and all.  BUT, the appointment of him has been a fucking disaster from start to now.

If he left tomorrow I'd barely blink.

The club is a total, unmitigated shambles at every single perceivable level.

Garde can go with his head held high and the good wishes of most of the fans.

Why are so many Villa fans wanting our first decent manager for years to walk away, have you all got some sort of fucked up football related stockholm syndrome?

No shame in this tonight. We've given it our best and that's all we can ask for.

Yeah you have to risk something at that stage and with only 10 men it was likely that we would get caught.

Mark Noble man of the match, someone who shouldn't even have been on the fucking pitch.

Might go on Saturday for the first time this season. I feel I almost have to, no idea why.

If Gestede and Kozak are injured, and Ayew is suspended, does that make Gabby our only available forward this weekend?

My feelings, too. Although I've been this season.
