Firstly, let's get real as our "unbeaten" run also included 2 matches against WW.

A few on here are predicting us to win - some basic facts about football, just in case we've forgotten - to win, we need to score - ask any Villa player and I doubt they will know what scoring is unless it's with some dolly bird!! the other thing is, you have to keep a clean sheet - what's one of them I hear you ask.

When we're playing at home and, win the toss, we need to revert to kicking towards the Holte in the second half. At the moment, it sucks even more life out of me when I see us going towards the Holte in the first half. Also, we need to get rid of that "end of the world" tune they play when we are coming out at the start of a match. Play "Heroes" and tell the players to listen to the words and then act on them.

As regards the Cup match, I said in the pre match thread that although the ticket prices looked good, they were probably much too high as it was fairly obvious we would play mainly our 2nd string and City would have a raffle to see who they would play as, whoever it was, they were going to give us a drubbing!!

The lack of forward options probably means Gabby has to start.

Makes one long for the heady days of Riccardo Scimica starting Nigel Spink Richard Walker Lew Chatterley up front

Fixed.

Fixed properley, non of this half arsed bodge job malarkey! There's enough of that on the pitch.
For those with longer memories!

Another long night of further Villa agony and the undertaker is getting the nails ready and that big fat bitch is clearing her throat.

Ah right Ads.  Gabby up front then alongside Ayew and Sinclair on the bench.

3-1 to them. Staying solid for the opening 20-30 mins and slowly working our way into the game is our best shot.  But we seem incapable of doing that.  Lescott for us.

I'm quite looking forward to this. Sell out in the away end and an evening game where I have a sneaky feeling that we might spawn our way to a 1-0 win.

First goal is key. We need to avoid conceding early so that we can grow into the game.

Gabby up top [cries] with Ayew supporting and Gil at the head of the diamond for me. I think we need Westwood [cries some more] Gana and Veretout's endeavor to stymie West Ham's midfield runners.  Payet makes them tick, as with out him, they look garbage, as we saw only a few weeks ago.

We could say everyone's got the runs and get the game called off. Then keep saying were busy and avoid re-arranging it.

Does anyone know if French TV shows the BT games?

Change channels if they do!

Comfortable home win, either 2-0 or 3-1. Another game closer to the inevitable.
