I keep hearing this "if people think we're/Villa are going to cruise the league in the Championship...", but don't think I've actually heard any Villa fan say that they think we'll cruise the Championship next season.

There were a few (about a month ago), but they seem to have gone rather quiet lately.

Nope, plenty of people are still saying it. I'm one of them.

Edit - and why would they have stopped saying it and gone quiet while we were on our best run of the season and hadn't been beaten in a month?

FFS - Is there anyone happy with this? Are you people happy by trying to find someone that might have said something? Get a fucking grip - I am hurting with the situation.

Feeling like someone reminding you that you have an ugly nose at every fucking moment
Sorry, did you say something, Pinnochio? :-)

Is Richards playing centre forward or is he stupidly out of position and can't be arsed to get back?

He want's a glory goal to make himself look Ok and mask his massive inadequacies. Another clown who hasn't played much football for years.

I doubt he gives a toss about scoring. He seems more concerned with not breaking sweat this half. He really doesn't give a shit.

they don't seem to know how to press - 3 follow the ball and get bypassed by a simple pass

Feel better for having a wee rant? Jolly good. Anyway, I thought you'd given up on The Villa this afternoon were watching Barca.

No one is happy that we've been constantly beaten for the best part of 5 years. We need to collectively wake up though, wishful thinking that this collection of terrible players are going to do the business isn't going to help us. The more of the Westwood's, Gabby's and Sinclair's we keep next season the harder it will be for us to come back quickly. They just don't have it. Against who have they looked good the last few years?

I have. Take a look at some threads on here if you have the time to find them.Sinclair and Gestede will do just fine next season, they're proven players, forgetting the fact they've both done the business one season in their careers and for Sinclair, who is what I'd consider a part time footballer, he's done nothing of consistent note for nearly 5 years.
I hope Garde recognises the need to offload Guzan, Gestede, Sinclair, Bacuna, Westwood, Gabby for next season. Basically, we need to start by rebuilding - from the foundations upwards; not hope that the proven non-performers can miraculously turn things around.

excellent point

if we hold onto them in the championship and if they perform and get us up then our fuckwit board will think well they got us out of the division lets stick with them perhaps they will be okay this time

and so the cycle repeats

Actually impressed with Suarez's theatrics after being hit by a huge tackle....(clear foul and yellow) - but how he managed to fly like he did is actually impressive. (Not being sarcastic)
