Any guess on the Attendance

Around 27'000 maybe? Am surprised it is so empty given this is our only chance at doing anything now.

no chance of 27k, never seen the doug so empty

So did Man City just get the North Stand in the end?

Well very unlucky to be 2-0 down. The lads have played well. The most painful thing is looking across at empty Witton Lane stand. I have never seen it like that.

People who think Bacuna, Westwood and their ilk are going to be decent players for us next season as we romp the league, I've a feeling they have a rude awakening coming, they don't understand just how poor a team we are. I'm still seeing comments bemoaning bad luck and a bit here and there could have made a difference. No chance. This team is garbage and the squad have about 5 or 6 capable players in it. Gil is your typical example, he does absolutely nothing of any significance in most games. Clark, he's poor, he's going to be the same next season. We have 2 centre backs who struggle to play 2 games in a week. Good luck to them next season. We have a board who have no idea what they are doing, they can't even conjure up a single transfer this month and we make every excuse under the sun for them.

They are as incompetent as the team. In fact the team resembles the board down to a tea. No fight, no intelligence, no nous and giving up as soon as it gets hard. Pathetic the bunch of them. The grounds half empty because no one can be arsed watching our weekly defeat anymore and we lie to ourselves that next season these muppets are going to either grow a brain or suddenly discover they can play football.

Excellent post, couldn't have summed it up better myself!

I keep hearing this "if people think we're/Villa are going to cruise the league in the Championship...", but don't think I've actually heard any Villa fan say that they think we'll cruise the Championship next season.

A half empty ground for a 4th Round FA Cup game is a very sad incitement of what the clowns running this club have achieved.

No doubt Fox will attempt to turn it into a positive, bless.   ::)

Today's crowd is good preparation for next season in the Championship.

They will need to offer some sort of deal to the fans to get attendances to hold up. No marketing guff will work, we know the players are shit and boring and there isn't really any sort of workable plan by any of them because they're twats above their stations. Only cheap deals will talk.

Exactly - yet so many spend energy trying to argue with no one about how wrong those no-ones are to think things are rosy
