Great effort. Too little too late but the players deserved that. To a man they didn't leave anything on the pitch. Kozac looked like he was going to keel over

Well, that was better, very good team, and they all ran their nadgers off.  I'd completely forgotten what this feels like!

Deserved it. Fight, heart, guts, determination.

Make Lescott captain till may. Everytime he has that band on he grows as a player. They were all great tonight, Kozak unbelievably grew into the game when I thought he would be done by 60 minutes. But Lescott was superb all night for me.

Get in Villa. Get the fuck in.

First home game I have missed in years - due to car breakdown on the way home from a meeting in Rotherham - and we won ! FML.

Yes yes yes! That was a really good display. Fully deserved. Veretout and Ayew were brilliant. Okore and Lescott did really well. Well earned Remi.

Lovely.

Wife is a Palace fan too, but I think she's secretly a little bit happy that Villa won and I'm not miserable as piss again.

Has anyone heard the phrase "signed the wrong brother" lately?

He was great again today. A win doesn't change the fact that we're still going down, but we should do everything we can to build the side around him for the next five years.

What are you supposed to do when your team has won? Any tips?

I've no idea were that fight came from but show that spirit for the rest of the season and whatever happens happens, Lescott probably my man of the match for the goal and clean sheet but the whole back 4 played well.
