I want to see a smile on Ayew's face.
I don't. I love the fact that he's never happy with himself!

I'd give anything for 11 players with his attitude and workrate

Agreed.  I'd go as far as to make him captain.

And Palace refuse our regular invitation to put one in in stoppage time!

They're playing constipation-ball in defence, and we don't have any Senekot.

Wow, we tried our hardest their to concede the obligatory goal before half time!

but other than that, more of the same with a bit more composure second half please.

take the first minute of the half and last minute of the half out of it and were by far the better team in that, the effort is unquestionable today just lacking in the final 3rd.

The 1 min extra time was Villa of old - creating loads of chances for Palace... mentally weak

Nothing wrong with that display that a quality striker wouldn't fix.

Snapping into tackles, playing at a higher tempo, working harder.... much better all round, just no cutting edge up front.

Four corners so far, is Westwood taking them and is he actually managed to put a decent cross in for once?

No Gil and Veretout taking them

Westwood and Gueye have played well in midfield, Ayew came into the game last 15 mins

we have no threat up top though, Gil not affecting the game in dangerous areas and Kozak.....

Nah. Westwood had played pretty well up until that last woeful pass.
