I'm rather torn on this one.

On the one hand I want us to win given that we're on the box. Not winning will give more know-nothing pundits the excuse to lay into us, calling us an arsehole of a club, and the like.

On the other hand, a win will give us another game in the cup which will serve as a distraction to the narrowest hopes of survival. But then, a win could spark our season too.

Like I say, torn.

Chris we have no practically chance of staying up and I don't think whether we play 4-5 or even 8 more cup games will make the slightest difference to our points tally at the end of the season.
If anything, last year, it was beneficial.

Yep, you're possibly right, rob. I suppose I should want to watch and see us win every game. I guess everyone's patience is being tested at the moment.

Can we sign him up?

"Wycombe have named 46-year-old goalkeeping coach Barry Richardson on the bench for their FA Cup third round tie against Aston Villa.
Matt Ingram's red card against Morecambe on Saturday means he his suspended for the match, allowing a start for 20-year-old Alex Lynch.
"We've got no one else we can put in there," said boss Gareth Ainsworth. "That's Wycombe, you get your chances."
Richardson last played a professional game for Doncaster in 2008"

I wish people would stop suggesting Gil and Grealish in the same team, it doesn't work, especially not in away games.

Rather than backing Villa I've had 5/6 on BTTS. We aren't keeping a clean sheet against anyone.

Simple 4-4-2 for me.

Bunn, Richards, Okore, Lescott, Cissokho, Calder (give him a shot down the left), Gana, Veretout, Bacuna, Kozak, Ayew.

Get wide men on the ball, work the channels and get it in the box. An opportunity to give Richards a go at right back and Calder a run on the left wing. Nothing to lose really.

What's this working the channels and getting the ball in the box method, you speak off?

That's a good shout BTTS, I can't remember the last time I backed us, us to lose at home is usually the first one down on my accumulator.

Rooky goalkeeper - shoot on sight. That includes you Jack, rather than attempting a lazy incomplete lay-off.

Calder's not a winger is he? I thought he was a defensive centre midfielder but I may be wrong. Besides, isn't he on loan at some Scottish club?

I have forgotten what winning feels like, doesn't matter who were playing. I cant see us winning this tomorrow.

Think Lescott might be rested for this one, what with him being an antique and managing his fitness etc.
