Would see this as an opportunity to move some players out of the starting XI.  I would go with:

                       Bunn

Richards     Okore    Lescott    Cissokho

            Sanchez       Veretout

Traore                Gil                Ayew

                     Gestede

If Richards didn't want to play there I'd drop him completely and if Sanchez isn't fit I would give that young lad Lyden a go.  Nothing against them personally, but I genuinely don't want to see Guzan, Hutton, Richardson, Westwood and co. in a Villa shirt again.

I'd play exactly the same team that played at Sunderland. They get paid a fortune, at least inconvenience them by making them turn up. It'll also keep Richards off twitter for a couple of hours.

I wouldn't count on a football match being enough to keep Richard's focus. He probably sneaks his phone onto the pitch. Keep an eye on the timing of his tweets anytime you see him having a nut fiddle.
He plays like that guy in the park game who takes a crafty moment during the game to send a few texts.

Broken Bag Pipes.  Chocolate Tea Pot.   A Bag of Sand.         A Pile of Shit
A Deck Chair.  A sign Post.  Net Curtains.

Why are you persisting with Gestede up front?

Clark is as weak as they come and slow to. Never want to watch him struggle in a claret and blue shirt again.

What absolute drivel. He's our best centre half by some distance.

I think I'd like to disagree. The watermark isn't high, yet he fails to meet it.

Everyone I've spoken to tells me it will take ages to get to and from the ground. How far is it from civilisation? pubs?

I'd say that Okore and Clark was our best pairing last season, but he's looked awful this season, 2nd half v that lot excepted.

Its not that far to walk, and they have a good fan zone with hot food and a bar outside the ground. The friendly we had a couple of summers ago was great fun.

One of the numerous disappointments this season has been the decline of Clark. Last season was his best for the club and he looked that he might finally make it as a Premier League player. This season he has looked more like a League one player. Very sad particularly as he is a homegrown player.
