Okore for Hutton. Put Richards out to right back.

Adama for Grealish.

And if no injuries I would give kozak 20 mins at the end.

All season I've been saying it, too weak physically ( Gil, Grealish, Veretout, Gana etc ) and too weak mentally ( see that latter etc ).

I like veretout a lot but playing with kermit and fozzie what do you expect.

Good closing down space again by Villa.....not

Don't think we can afford to have Gil and Grealish in the same team. Bacuna has looked OK but we may have to commit more than one player in the box perhaps.

HT. Play ok, be the better side, concede a spawny goal, go in losing. How often has that been said this season?

Absolutely this.

It is the single most annoying reflection of our shitness, it really is.

Play well, spunk a goal away when it'd be easier not to.

Too many players going through the motions, no intent a complete lack of belief.

We were on top for a bit but since the inevitable goal against we've offered nothing of any intent.  It's painful.

This is no better than before Garde came along.

If these wankers can't put the effort in now (and there is a total lack of effort) when there is the slightest glimmer of hope and something to fight for, how bad is going to be in a few weeks time when it ii mathematically certain we are down and there really is nothing to fight for.
We'll probably start playing like Barcelona as they wont be under any pressure

Make no mistake Sunderland are utter shit , but get a goal curtosy of luck and woeful defending first from Hutton not closing down then Richards stupidly attempting to block the shot ..again Richards no fucking brain.

Veretout /Gana/Bacuna done ok in midfield but upfront Gestede is a lampost and Gil and Grealish are too lightweight and the latter looks woeful off the pace.He can't even make a simple pass out wide.

Another goal conceded from our right side, virtually identical to the one West Ham scored. Terrible defending but Richards was unlucky with the deflection.

Plenty of possession in their half but no threat. With no crossing ability, Gestede is impotent. Might as well bring Kozak on. He'll have a real point to prove so should be well up for it.

There's absolutely nothing in our forward line. I don't understand why none of our players move off of the ball into space.

The only person who makes a run is Alan fucking Hutton. No wonder Garde is loathe to drop the useless bastard; 90% of our through balls are inside the full back to him.
