A win today and there's a bit of hope. Over to you, Villa...

Draw.  A pointless point, so to speak.

It will be one of those games where the team selection baffles everybody, so many key players out yet we put in the best performance of the season. 3-1 Villa.

I'd go with Guzan, Cissokho, Lescott, Okore, Richards, Veretout, Gana, Grealish, Traore, Sinclair and Gestede.

Huge respect to everyone going up their today.

Sunderland made it hard for Liverpool in the week so it's going to be tough. Let's hope the extra couple of days rest and our decent record up there swings it for us.

Why not?

Can't find specific info for Portugal but its probably similar to this

Quote from: Sky
The transfer window in France also opens on January 2 but Premier League clubs will have to wait until at least January 4 to sign players from Italy or Spain.

A win won't be enough to save us, but at least it helps Sunderland to come down with us.

Isn't it just a recall from a loan?
