Just checked, he's scored against us 8 times, the most he's scored against anyone. What a surprise.

He hasn't scored since 2008 against us I believe. In recent years while Defoe was at Spurs it has been Adebayor who killed us if I remember correctly.

He bummed us when we got caned in the cup against Spurs when Helenius got his pants pulled down. A Lambert season I think.

Crikey, 30% odd still think we will not lose. Please let me have email address of where you are getting the stuff you are on from!!

As for records, does anyone really give a shit anymore?? Plus, even if we did win, with this shower of players, it would not make any material difference!!
Can`t give you their Email but most of their addresses end in the word "Asylum".

                                                          Bacuna                                  Veretout                             Gana

                                                                                                            Gil

The thing that killed Sunderland up at their place last season was our pace and they still look hopeless at the back.

Nope, I'm immune to breaking shit eating records now, Villa have drained me of the pride I had in them, I expect us to be defeated and laughed at and will just try and ignore it all until Lerner and his cronies do one and we get some professionals in.

Seeing as I think this is the first Christmas ever I haven't seen a repeat of the sketch on some compilation show or other -

We've got all the right professionals in. Just not necessarily in the right order.

A home win after a turgid 90+ minutes of shitball: concluding in the away following finally losing it & chanting 'you're not fit to wear the shirt(s)' after a customary defensive calamity.

Transfer window opens Monday so Cissokho is available from the Wycombe game onwards

According to this link the window opens on Saturday 2nd January 2016 and closes at 11-00pm on Monday 1st February.

http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/january-transfer-window-2016.html

So if correct then Cissokho, Senderos, Bennett and any other player with us should be available for selection against Sunderland if Garde thinks they can do a job for him and the team. The restriction of picking the team from the squad list of 25 players ends as soon as the transfer window opens.

I don't see the point in picking up the odd win here and there between now and May. It would be more fun now to see if we could get to the end of the season without winning another game.

Rather than routing for the lazy fuckers, and giving any remaining optimists a glimmer of hope that we can still get out of this by dripping the occasional point or three into that final column, let's join them on their journey to getting us mathematically relegated as soon as freaking possible with one stinking win on the board all season.

I don't think that sounds at all fun.

Fuck it. I'd stick Gil up front with Grealish and Veretout behind. Might as well attempt to stay in the league.

After the Norwich debacle I have given up hope of us winning again this season - crap players, no confidence and a losing mentality so will go 2-1 Sunderland

No chance of us lining up as follows but would really like to see Guzan, Richards, Okore, Clark, Lescott, Gana, Veretout, Grealish, Gill, Traore, Gestede

Subs: Bunn, Hutton, Bacuna, Sinclair, Kozak, Richardson, Crespo
