I was resigned to relegation a month ago so the inability to win has become funny in a macabre way. The longer it goes on, the funnier it gets.

Best we can hope for is a 0-0 draw.

1-0 to Sunderland. Bad defensive mistake and a feeble attempt by Guzan to save it.

Loss. No chance here.

Big Ugly Sam's Big Ugly Team will shred ours to bits. Only chance is their ill discipline.

Six pointer for them against a team already relegated, 1-0 to them, possibly 2-0

My tickets arrived after a change and all I could think of was, I must be mad... Not the first time this year when away tickets have arrive I have had that feeling... Not sure if a win makes that much difference just cannot see us winning enough consistently to be of any consequence.

Forecast to rain all day, 180 miles each way...  nearly beyond the call of duty, but a cheap junior ticket for my son :).  My wife is convinced that I take a perverse pleasure in suffering with the villa so the worse the weather or longer the journey the more I can moan (women :o). I have explained, wait until next year, I have 8 more league games to moan about and even shittier grounds to visit...

Just for the hell of it. 3-1 us

Our only attacking threat is out so that's us with a nil. They are shit too though so its about whether they'll be able to break us down.

2-0 to Sunderland, as shit as they are they're still better than us. Comfortably so at home.

The two worst sides in the league. We've a good record up there, so Villa win.

Nil points, nil goals, nil entertainment. Nil, 3 perfect letters to sum up Aston Villa.

Richardson won't be LB is a plus. Ayew not being available isn't. I think we might see Traore start with Gestede leading the line. I'll go foepr an optimistic (or delusional) 2-1 win; Rudy and Veretout with the goals.

Nil goals would secure one point.

Ideally, a comfortable win up there as usual with Fat Sam bemoaning the fact that we had two extra days rest/preparation time.

Realistically, he rests most of his team for their match against Liverpool tonight and they beat us pretty comfortably with O'Shea and Brown having their easiest game in months.
