Well, we won't win, could scrape another worthless draw though.

2-1 Sutton for them, Houghton and saunders for us. In reality, 2-1 defeat

Norwich are pretty poor but still too good for us. Another worthless draw is probably the best we can expect.

For those of us who still retain some belief, it goes without saying that the next two games against bottom four teams are cup finals. If we could somehow pull two victories out of the hat, not only would the table look a lot better, confidence would rocket amongst the team and supporters.

I said before the Newcastle game that the two I could see us winning out of this batch of games were Norwich and Sunderland. Norwich will be the tougher out the two though. Our record is not too bad there. so who knows.

Two teams that ain't about that clean sheet life. This should be fun ;D

Going to go for something crazy like....

3-3

Villa scoring three, the mind boggles ;D

2-0 to Norwich, no idea who will score as I can only think of three Norwich players off the top of my head. So two from Redmond, Brady and Hoolahan.

Just remembered Cameron Jerome plays for them so he might be one of the scorers.

they're not worthless. 10 draws to go with 8 or so wins should be plenty 😉

Anything other than a loss would do me atm in all honesty. What we'd all give for a big, juicy 3 points though! Here's hoping that our season finally starts here...

                   Guzan
Bacuna Okore Lescott Clark
               Westwood
    Gana.                  Veretout
                 Grealish
          Ayew.          Gestede

Traore for Grealish after an hour - time to let Jack off the leash to test if he has the character required & has some backbone, Traore needs more than 10 mins at some point.

Gil not first option - soooo average & a complete physical passenger, no pace, actually made two 'challenges' yesterday but does not offer enough with the ball to justify being a passenger.

Successive managers have been obsessed with either defensive or creative centre midfielders, we have no athleticism, no box to box - shocking lack of balance!

Can we bring back Lambert as manager for this one....and Sunderland away too. Two of his favourite opposition as Villa manager.

2-2 anyway so not enough.

I'd keep the same side. We need continuity although at the same time, there's a temptation to stick Sinclair back in and go for pace and put Gestede in at Sunderland, who look dodgy from crosses.

Win for us. First one I have predicted all season. I also predict another parking ticket because I always get one in that benighted hole of a city. Those of you going by car, the first BP petrol station on the left on the A11 is where Alan Partridge was filmed. Mention it to the manager it makes him go ape shit.
