Gestede up front. Let's see how he does. I just hope we don't lump it up to him because we did that last year with Benteke and it was an utter waste of time. Anyway, I have no idea what team can win so let's hope it is this one

442 so.

There is a lot of attacking impetus on the bench, so I expect an absolute storming second half!

It's similar or possibly the same as the side that finished against Newcastle and he was quite effective with players buzzing around his knock downs. That might be what Garde is thinking. Plus we got some decent crosses into him from deeper positions.

A funny quirk of fate that we currently have, imo, our strongest bench for many a year.

No Gil, Grealish or Traore.. yet we're desperate for a win.

Westwood and Sanchez  ???

Garde is obviously trying to tighten things up at the back and in the middle...but its the lack of the quality players that are the problem so he can't afford the luxury of playing Gil, Grealish or Traore.

Personally I'd try Traore through the middle with Ayew just off him...he gets criticised for not passing and not being a team player, but we all know he can beat a man for fun so if we just get the ball to his feet with just a central defender to beat then surely he's guaranteed to score goals. Am I the only one that can see this or am I missing something?

Hope we don't get sucked into a game of who can win the most headers between Gestede and Collins today.
