Newcastle have won 2 in a row. That team is designed to give us a for in the game.  Or midfield had been walked through for weeks so I understand the philosophy of trying to be more compact.  I think it's a similar formation that he played a lot at Lyon with 4 central midfielders. Expect Veretout to be almost number 10.

Looks a defensive selection 'as per Paul Lambert'in the hope of stealing a point. We need three Remi. Why Westwood why why why?

Westwood's been fairly poor, but as the whole lot have been a bit shit I don't know why he's being singled out so much.

There might be a half-decent player in Westwood, provided he's told to actually move his arse occasionally and never has any defensive responsibilities.

We haven't got the midfield to play 3 up front and we can't afford to lose, so I understand the thinking behind the team, as dour as it looks.

I said we would lose this if Kozak and Traore didn't start.  I now stand by that in the vein hope I am wrong.

We are fucked.

With other results today it is all over even if we win - Tonight we have no pace, no creativity, no Adama, no Grealish, no Gil and more importantly NO CHANCE

Totally meh line up. Would rather see Gil or even Adama instead of Westwood. Someone who can create something rather than just ping a 5 yard pass back to the person who's just passed it to him, then point to the unmarked man who he should be picking up. Gabby conspicuous by his absence again - looks to have been well & truly frozen out. Not a completely bad thing.
