Much as it pains me this is spot on, I suppose laughing at their demise was going to bite us on the arse one day.
Someone still got their head in their arse about 2009? Maybe even Coventry in 2001?

You'll have to elaborate on this one.....

It's been blowing a gale up here. I'm glad that I came up by train rather than flying as I originally planned

Just read we have only won 38 of our last 168 league games. Shocking.

Louise Taylor, Guardian's Newcastle United expert, really should stick to writing/cheerleading about them. No insight about us, just lazily pasted inaccurate crap: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/dec/18/newcastle-aston-villa-transfer-tactics-remi-garde

It's not one of her worst articles to be fair, but it's weird that journalists in the UK criticise this type of transfer policy when it or a variant of it is how pretty much every continental club operates. And the manager has a veto, so Tim could have said no.

For me, for the manager to delegate the scouting/recruitment makes sense unless that manager is an expert scout themselves. They just need to identify exactly what attributes they need for the team.

It's typical of the way we handle media relations appalingly, so that the other side of the story is allowed to control the agenda and hypothesis becomes accepted as fact.

Nothing but a win or a draw will  do so I will go 0-1 to the Villa Guzan big kick.

A draw is no good I'm afraid.  We need to win the next 3 games, unlikely as that may be.

We have won only 2 of 22 visits to Newcastle in the Premier League. When you consider how crap they've been at times and it's hardly Old Trafford, that is another terrible statistic.
