Is it true that if we don't beat Arsenal it's another record for us broken these last few pitiful years, our longest home run without a win.

It is.

At least in a year or so we wont have any bad records left to break really unless we lose every single game we play for about 6 months.

Arsenals away performance in Greece was pretty much the most complete away performance against good opposition in a hostile environment I have ever seen. Scintilating, clinical and controlling. In typical fashion they follow this game up with an away game against us. Does not bode well....

We haven't beaten Arsenal at home in 17 years, not since Nigel Rogoff an RAF parachutist broke his leg falling off the roof of the old Trinity Road stand at half time dressed as Santa Claus.

Mind you, that near tragedy turned the game on its head, we were 0-2 down at half time and absolutely battered Arsenal second half, an incredible day, spookily Sunday 13th as well.

In the week before the game Arsene Wenger told Arsenal fans after a midweek game in Europe that they can't have caviar every week, sometimes they had to have sausages.  Hopefully Sunday Villa can rustle up some roast beef rather than gruel.
more tea and sympathy i am afraid.

Don't put that past us.

A bit OTT there mate?  Yes Arsenal played well but olympiacos were not all that. Pretty poor in fact. We all know what Arsenal are like. Soft as shit southerners. If you stand off them and
let them play (like we did at Wembley)they will take the piss. Get stuck in from the off (like Stoke) and anything can happen. Have we got the players to do that?  We'll soon find out.

I wonder if Garde will go the whole season without winning a game?

Can't see a win but a point would feel good. Very good.

Whats the most any team has scored against us in a year? They're up to 9 so far. Every game I think we've hit bottom and are going to come out next game and get a result that will spur us on to a basic level of mediocrity. Thought the Man City game was it. Surely we are capable of a gutsy backs to the wall die for the cause game sooner or later that we go on and win?

1-0 Villa, Chris Price right at the end, a 20 year old me in the Clock End celebrating  ;)

Scoring goals isn't our main problem. At times we look pretty decent going forward. With a solid defence we would be a top 10 team right now. But we do not have a solid defence. We have an error riddled flimsy back 4. And behind those beleaguered lot we have an even bigger problem. Brad Guzan. Enough said. Heart says Arsenal always flatter to deceive after a convincing win. 2-0 Villa. Head says 2-3 to them posers.
