For what it's worth, amazingly I have voted that we will win this one. Just have a feelin.

Team for me:

                                                                                  Guzan

                         Richards                  Okore                                Clark                       Hutton

                         Adama                      Sanchez                           Veretout                Gana

                                                                               Gil

                                                                              Ayew

Subs: Bunn, Sinclair, Bacuna, Kozak, Lescott

Guzan might have to move over a bit.

What is it with this spellchecker????????

It's OK, he's just getting ready for a free kick that, Oh Bollocks! Beaten at the far post again.

4-0 Villa.

We'll all be asking "why didn't we do this back in May".

I just cant see any thing other than a lot of Villa huff and puff at the start, Arsenal to score and we will collapse. Ayew looks like our only goalscorer while they have loads.  0-3

Looking at the Bournemouth and Newcastle results must give us a glimmar of hope. We need that sort of result. Ultimately I think results like that tended to be the difference for us between staying up and going down under Lambert. When we're supposed to win we almost never bloody do. We've got to pull a few pants down and pick up unexpected points.

Much as I hope we can get 3 points or even one our defence is still too porous to stop Arsenal. 2-0 defeat with even more importance of the games against Newcastle, Sunderland & Norwich.

Sunday 13.12.15 1.30pm KO

H&V Christmas compendium will be on-sale outside the ground. A perfect gift to yourself and other family members, as well as friends and neighbours.

Seek out one of our friendly sellers. Preferably me.
What's the big idea starting a pre-match thread on a Monday? Especially for a Sunday match!

Anybody would think that some senior members of this forum want to flog something to the rest of us  ;)

They tonked us last season more than once and we were a better team then...  So I expect either a battering or a spanking.  0-3.

We'll battle first half and they'll miss a host of chances. They'll score early on second half, we'll have to open up a bit more and we'll lose 0-3.

That sounds like last year's fixture, which I attended. No, hang on I don't remember us battling. I remember us imploding all over the park and Arsenal tonking us.

1-1. A draw prediction makes me happy. Until KO at least.

Has Wenger ever managed in the Premier League against a side managed by one of his old players?
