Nicely put. I mentioned it elsewhere but I thought Garde may have been in the Arsenal squad for that game seventeen years ago. Just checked and he wasn't.
They don't have anyone as good as Bergkamp like they did that day and they were of course holders of both the league and FA Cup so it was a great result. Hard to believe our record to them at home since is almost as bad as our results at VP against ManUre.

Remi only played against us once in the 96/97 season score was 2-2

It is a absolutely astonishing the poor run of the ball we have got over the last few months.  The one shot on target but scoring how goals is becoming increasingly popular with Smethwick as well as Newcastle.
