The draw is far from unacceptable, but time-wasting for it is.

Getting a point now is acceptable. However we arrive at it.

No, that misses the issue. Southampton have been vulnerable, we've had decent moments in attack, we haven't won since the opening day, we're miles behind in the league, and we're not away at Man Utd. We needed to at least try for a win. I'm not at all impressed with the antics at the end there.

A point vs Man City and Soton is not to be sniffed at, if only we'd turned over Watford...

But we didn't. We need wins.

Sorry but if we'd gone all out for the win and been caught on the break and lost they'd have been absolutely slaughtered for not being professional and taking the point.

Disappointed to have not got the win but after the first 2 minutes I would have easily took this point.

Also a bonus that we didn't completely fold after Southampton pegged us back.

We'll agree to disagree then. It shows how desperate the players are to stop the rot that they will do things they likely wouldn't to get that point. We've not won since the opening day. Desperate time calls for desperate measures, and I will gladly accept the point.

Not all out, but kicking the posts while taking a goal kick? It was like watching a Conference side play Arsenal hoping for a replay.

I'd be ranting about a team of thicko's and  Garde being dim for not telling them to shut up shop. It's not fantasy football, we are deep in the shit, we need to sneak points away in games we've not played well. 1-1 is a good result today but we've got to start picking up some home wins and soon.

Gestede, comedy donkey, so far off the pace of being a Prem striker it's unbelievable. It's going to be Gabby and Ayew next game.

We need to stop losing. Therefore not losing is a positive step forward. Southampton away isn't easy and today's result would have been even better had we done what we should have done and beat Watford last week.

Considering the pasting we took most of the game, 2 players off and players on the pitch who haven't played much and so are probably knackered, i'm glad we made sure of the point.

They weren't antics at all, if you saw the replay you would have seen that gana's face under his left eye had swollen up and as for the sanchez one romeu just ran into him with his head. Probably not intentional but none the less a clash of heads.

Fine, I can see I'm in a minority here, but I think there's a difference between being sensible and being negative. We overdid it towards the end.

Did Gabby have more touches than his last appearance?

we got a point in a game we are lucky not to have take a battering from. That supersedes everything when you've been on a run like ours.
