Time for a change of system, can't do worse id go 3-4-3

Gk. Guzman

Cb. Clark
Cb. Okore
Cb. Richards

Rw. Bacuna
Lw. Sinclair
Cm. Sanchez
Cm. gana

Lam. Ayew
Ram. Gill
striker. Gestede
I hate to sound flippant but it  just smacks of rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic :(

We haven't lost 5-0 yet, so i'll go for that.

Sick to death of hoping we can get a few points here and there. This is a banker of a loss, only thing that is difficult is by how much.

Maintain our 100% record in the league on the south coast this season.
1-0 to Villa.

Here we go again.

We're owed a big performance after the last two appearances down there, and Christ do we need one. Just rang the ticket office and we've got about 50 tickets left of our 1,707 allocation so at least we'll have a fairly decent backing.

I want to say we'll finally come good and get a suprise win but I've been saying that for weeks.

I'd start the same team as Watford but with Gestede instead of Ayew. We would have won that otherwise.

I'm not sure I'd be dropping Ayew just as he's hitting some form and scoring. I'd start Adama and find a place for Kozak somewhere in the 16 though.

Strangely looking forward to it, despite how naff we've been.

Ayew looks a good player, so no idea why he'd be dropped for Gestede.

ayew and traore up front for me

gestede can get the wicker basket with the kit in out of the boot
I  like the sound of Traore and Ayew. Power and pace. It's the supply to them that would worry me.

with traores pace i would just play it to feet and get him to turn off the centre halves

Yes I would fancy Gil to play it to feet and we can definitely profit from that. Can the defence & keeper play their part and give our forwards the chance to make the difference and win a game? That remains the million dollar question.

Southampton win, only question is by how many. If we play to the limit of our capabilities and they have an off day, we could keep it down to something respectable like 2-0

Hopefully we might try and actually win the game unlike the last time we went there.

I was hoping last Sat would be a turning point, so with that in mind 3-1 Saints.

Play like Saturday from an attacking perspective. Hopeful at half time. Go behind to defensive omnishambles. Picked off with a late second on the break.

Edge,
Always happy if someone disagrees with me as what a dull world if we all thought the same. All I can do is give my honest appraisal and, at this moment in time, I cannot see us winning a match. This is based on what my eyes have seen. Others will obviously see it differently. I have mentioned in the past that straight after a match, everyone is all doom and gloom but, as each day passes memories fade and, there's quite a bit of optimism as witnessed by the fact that 30%(Of which I am not one) of votes so far say we will not lose at Soton. I usually am on an even keel so, not doom & gloom after a match but, just because a few days have passed, I don't suddenly think we are going to get anything out of the next match until the team prove that they can do so. As I said, I would love to be proved wrong!!

As regards my choice of line up, once again, we will all differ with the odd player/position but, by & large think that 8 of the players would be what others would pick too, given the players we have.

------------- Guzan

Hutton --- Richards --- Okore --- Crespo/Kinsella

--------- Sanchez ------ Gana

Traore -------------------------- N'Zogbia

-------------- Gil
------------- Kozak

Gil has to be given a free role behind the striker for me

1 - because he hasn't got the pace to take on a man on the wings, and he's constantly being overpowered by powerful full backs
2 - it gives him more licence to create chances and be involved in the game, sticking him out on the wing doesn't absolutely nothing for us
3 - he's not strong defensively, and because he spends so much time trying to track back he can't do an attacking job for 90 mins

Traore and N'Zogbia because at least with a pair of maverick wingers we don't know what's going to happen, could go horribly wrong, might just go well for once
