I can only laugh at Hutton's throw in to Gestede. Sunday league players would be embarrassed by that. Pathetic.

Lee Mason is out of his depth. Mind you he would be standing in a shallow puddle.

Meanwhile Allardyce and Pulis will keep worse sides than us up this season.

Are they really worse than Villa, the league table doesn't lie

They're not worse sides though are they. Who in our side would get in the Sunderland one? Richards, Gueye, who else? Same with the Albion. James Morrison is a step up from anything we have in midfield, James fucking Morrison. At the back, the much maligned Johnny Evans, he's much stronger and makes much fewer mistakes than our keystone muppets at the back, man for man we are poor.

The summer signings have been shit. Ayew looks Ok, Veretout Ok, Gueye Ok. £50m and we've got ourselves a couple of Ok players, terrible summers business. Risks a plenty again, we gamble year after year after year and you can't keep dodging the bullets. We gamble because no one involved at the club has a bloody clue what it takes.

Do we pay Alan Hutton for playing like that?

Their players are, their team is not.

They can defend.

Garde needs a defensive coach in asap.
