Watford looked a decent outfit in their last game and i cannot see us scoring, hoping for a minor miracle but no confidence at all.

I'm going for a Villa-find-their-mojo-season-defining 4-1.And I'll be bringing my binoculars to see from the back of A4

I don't see Newcastle or Sunderland getting anything from their games, so a draw today wouldn't be a total disaster, however i'm not convinced we'll get that. A loss would mean relegation confirmed for me - I couldn't see a way back in the last few weeks and nothing has changed other than more chances to get points have passed us by.
Either a very lucky 1-1, but most likely for me... 0-2.

A tetchy, nervous, backs-to-the-wall 1-0 home win.  Fingers crossed for such a massive turnaround.

As usual, no idea of what will happen today but I expect it won't be good -- as usual.

There's a simple formula:

They score = we lose.

I think we might be overestimating Watford a bit here guys, sure its a disgrace that we are 11 points behind them but they are a limited side. Physically strong definitely with good pace up top but thats about it. Their keeper is as likely to do a Guzan as Brad. Players like Watson and Cathcart are very limited.

Sanchez will be absolutely critical for us today in protecting our centre backs and winning physical challenges.
Our players simply have to be up for matching Watford physically for the entire 90 mins. If we do that I think we will sneak a win. Huge team selection but Im expecting a much improved display given that Garde will have had the team in for a whole week since the Everton game.

It doesn't mean as much to Watford as it does to us. For them, a point would be an acceptable return and they will play for that.

Sorry, that's my straw and I'm clutching it.

A draw? If we are taking draws at home to Watford who exactly are we targeting to beat? We need to pick up some 3 pts, draws here and there against the worst sides in the Premier league at home isn't going to keep us up, we need wins and we need to go hell for leather today to get the win. Do whatever it takes, leave everything on the pitch, this is a huge game.

Problem is I don't see us winning games the way things are going - We can do our best to try and win, but the reality is we need to concentrate on not losing first, and if a win comes with that, then great.

I hate being nervous about a game before it even gets to lunchtime.

We need the confidence of a win somewhere. Soton and Arsenal next two up, we don't want the run continuing to no wins in 17 games.

Not that nervous, just a bit resigned to our fate.

Nerves will really kick in around March/April as the games start to run out then. Hopefully we'll still be in touch at that stage.

In a weird way, I'm looking forward to this.  My optimism always rises during the week, so by the time Saturday comes around I expect to win.  (Then on Sunday, we are usually the worst team ever and are certainties for drop).  So this Saturday, I expect a cathartic, pent-up rage releasing smashing of Watford, akin to the 7-1 vs Wimbledon in Sir Brian's first season.  But I'd settle for the equivalent of the 3-0 "we're gonna be alright" win vs Chelsea in the same season.
