Next 6 games
« on: November 22, 2015, 07:37:01 AM »
Watford (h)
Southampton (a)
Arsenal(h)
Newcastle (a)
West Ham(h)
Norwich(a)

I think the 3 key ones are the ones around us because I don't fancy anything from arsenal or Southampton.

Watford is the biggest game I can think of for a good long while

Overall shitting myself

I can't even see us beating Watford. We are appalling at home regardless of opposition

Watford look to have the perfect away set up - solid at the back and pace up front ready to exploit a clueless backline who come under pressure after the players in front of them run out of ideas 20 mins in. A must win but certainly not confident. Newcastle and Norwich are other stand out fixtures. We then need a rabbit out of the bag in one of the others. Not going to happen is it?

9 points is the bare minimum from that run. 10 plus gives us a real shot. Watford, Newcastle, West Ham, Norwich are all win at all cost games. Southampton away will be the inevitable defeat, Arsenal at home West Brom have just shown are vulnerable.

We will get 6.

I'm making the trek to Birminham for Watford. If we win I'm going to every home game thereafter.

We really need to do something in the Newcastle and Norwich. Obviously defeats and the gap becomes very big. I'll be optimistic and say 4 points and also something at home to West Ham.

That and a draw with Watford 6 points but even then that brings the total to just 11 points going into the new year so the task remains near impossible.

Agreed. Much has been mentioned about the lack of fight yesterday, heads dropped after the first goal etc. So what happens if Watford score first? Will we suddenly see a spirit that has so far not been in evidence?

Watford is a must win, but they will believe equally as much that 3 points are there for the taking.
