We have been sleepwalking into the championship for years and it's finally going to happen!

We have a team full of championship players! There isn't a player in that side that would walk into other teams and that's how far we've fallen

Garde has to be given time and if we do improve must be given the opportunity in the championship

I can see that the myth growing up about this game is that we've been 'outmuscled'. Frankly, I think this is nonsense - we haven't been outmuscled, we've been outmanouvered.

All I can hear is our fans. 4-0, away from home, staring relegation in the face. They're the best thing about this club by a distance.

It's awful picking individuals out, because they have all been bad, but Vertoute has been particularly fucking shit today.

BBC: The Villa fans are still singing, a top-class performance from the travelling fans that their team barely deserve. Remi Garde stands on the touchline, the face of a worried man. "What have I got myself in to?"

It will be nice to lose against some different teams that's for sure.

Probably out everything apart from sang. Fair play to the fans.

There is absolutely no confidence or belief.

That's the main problem - psychologically we are finished.

Absolutely battered is how I would put it.

I don't quite agree.
We have lost pretty much every indivual battle, have lost the ball very, very cheaply when we do have it, and have looked physically weak all over the park.
