What concerns me is that we are not just bad defensively - even if we got that right, look at the other end of the pitch, and there is pretty much nothing there.

Ayew looked like the Weimann replacement but we blatantly didn't replace Benteke

The last few seasons we got away with it - and even then only just - because no matter how shit we were, we had a top class centre forward who stayed fit for enough matches to score enough goals.

Now we are even worse, but up front there is no hint of a likely source of goals.

I think Garde will improve us and I suspect he'll buy a striker and a keeper in January, but I have a feeling by then we will be cut so far loose that even if we are not mathematically down, psychologically we are finished
True, although Leicester looked dead and buried last season in January, with a squad of largely-unnoticed players and managed to find their mojo.

Leicester had 10 points this time last year

Really disappointing we've regressed to the mean after just one game with the new manager. Can only hope the rebuilding job in the summer is well thought out and executed, and we only spend one season in the Champ and come up stronger.

When you substitute Benteke with the likes of Ayew and Gestede that's absolutely predictable....
