I'm trying not to knee jerkto today but I honestly get the feeling that this is an unstoppable juggernaut towards Championship football.  There has been an almost inevitable culture of failure at the club for far too long.

In addition there are lots and lots of hallmarks that chime with 1987.  The malaise is deep rooted.

If it's any consolation at all, and it really isn't, Bournemouth now 2-2 with Swansea and Vardy has given Leicester the lead at Newcastle.

Every week I write Vardy off thinking he can't possibly keep this up. Despite being a bit of a knob, he's certainly producing on the pitch.

I know it's customary to say "that was the worst half I can remember" and so on.

But that actually, genuinely, really was.

Getting 1 point from man city and Everton isn't too bad really. It is the complete shit show in the previous games that is the problem.

If I were Remi I think I'd be trying to thinking about how to leave and retain my dignity within the next few days. Not his fault - I really like him - but he has no chance with our players.

It is not often that I post on a match thread but that was fucking terrible.
We are light weight, devoid of passion and clueless.
It reminds me of the team that went down in 69.
You can not imagine what the fuck that bunch can do to change things.
6 new players with experience in Jan, or wait and buy players to get us promoted next season.

Clark is always terrible against a big centre forward, Richardson is just shit and Guzan is a liability.

But that actually, genuinely, really was.

We were intermittently bad, we never got a foothold, and this is probably Everton's best performance of the season so far. It's a mark of how far we are behind them.

And to think some of us on here have been dismissive about the work Moyes did, and the work that Martinez has carried on with.

Thank's for the laugh after the first half it was much needed.
