Would have preferred Sanchez to Westwood, but let's see.

Westwood must practice well or Garde has found a way to use him more effectively. Still he's certainly not hiding and with Jack back in hopefully that will create chances. Still, no Kozak or Traore.

Kozak does not exist. He is merely a figment of our collective imaginations

That's quite an attacking line-up.

My guess is with Sanchez is that he's been rested due to his international commitments.

Oddly most of the players he picks are ones people on here have been calling for.
Westwood probably not so much.

Day of Judgement for Westwood.

Overall, that is pretty much the team many of us have been asking for, so today's the day we find out how stupid we are.

Carlos would be one of the first names on my Villa team sheet but it looks like have a third manager who might have him in and out of the team.

He might be knackered from international commitments but I am sure I read that he was suspended for the second match so didn't play.

It might be that Garde had Gana, Veretout and Westwood there to work with so that's his thinking.
