It was a great second half, Holte was rocking. Although Coventry were relegated whatever the result had been.

No it isn't. If they had won they'd have been 3 points from safety with one game to go. However their GD was significantly worse than Boro who were 17th. So even if they'd held on and won 2-0 at VP they'd have need a goal swing of 24 on the final day.

Indeed, so until it's mathematically impossible for them to go down, they wouldn't have been officially relegated.

And they could play that final day a thousand times and still wouldn't have the results to stay up. I'll take that as being relegated regardless.
