To all those at Upton Park tomorrow, we need a good twenty minutes of "One Remi Garde" followed by dogs abuse for the board for the TV cameras please!  These fuckers need outing and shaming publicly!
I was going to say I can feel a 10-15 minute rendition of "Remi Garde's claret and blue army" tomorrow night.

I feel a "lets pretend we have scored a goal" but for transfers coming on.

I still cant believe Randy has splashed out 30 million quid for a striker. I mean fair play to him, we may go down but he simply refuses to surrender!

What a disgraceful 'performance' from these imposters 'running' our club. I think a lot of our emotions will now be turning to outright anger.  In Remi Garde we have an intelligent  and dignified manager who so far has turned us into half a silk purse from a rotten pig's ear. Watching the Man City game it was evident that the midfield was controlling the game but there was absolutely nothing upfront. When they had the ball our jokers in defence who would not be there as first choice but were the only other options open to him were predictably poor.
It was obvious that a keeper , right back and a striker with a decent wide man oils turn us into a side that could compete. We have done fuck all about those glaring gaps so we as fans should stop being passive and devote all our energy and anger in making as much trouble for Fox and that hatchet man Hollis and hit Lerner where it hurts in the pocket. I really hesitate to advocate staying away and not handing over a penny till Lerner fucks off but if that's what it takes then do it . If we still go to the games then open revolt and burning effigies of them , flares banners are all OK in my book.
Hate the bastards and what they have done to our club. Fuming!

Agree. However I'd suggest we back the team until it's mathematically impossible to stay up. Then we channel all our energies into telling these wankers exactly what we feel about them.

Leroy Fer going to Swansea is a good loan deal.  Would have been a good signing in our midfield.

I suggested him in the summer.  Lots on here saying that he wasn't good enough for this league. Same as Steven N'Zonzi.  Big, powerful lad who would compliment our midfield, or, actually, would just be better than Westwood fullstop.  Good deal for Swansea, better attitude that the knob they sold to the barcodes too.

Well if this window has done anything it's united a lot of fans behind Garde because they now feel sorry for him.

Maybe that's more valuable to the team than a new signing?

I totally understand the anger about the lack of new signings but I think some of the comments on here are going way too far.  We know that they've tried to sign players, we know that one was £5m+ and we know that another we offered better terms than the club he eventually went to so I don't think the lack of signings is due to a lack of financial support, that just doesn't hold up unless you're some sort of conspiracy theorist.  I think Garde is disappointed but I don't think it's because he's not been backed, I think it's because he hasn't done the business he wanted to. He was clearly set on Kalinic given it went to 2 appeals and he seems genuinely upset to have missed out on Doumbia.  Given how late both of those have gone I reckon he believes he hasn't got time to move to any fallback options.  I really don't think they've just decided to not bother or, as I've seen on here, being relegated was part of some sort of plan.

I agree. The seeds were sown 5 years ago since when the festering weed of relegation has been crawling over Villa Park like a Triffid feeding off a potent fertiliser of incompetence and gross dereliction of duty.

We've thrown the towel in, its an insult to be honest.
Has a team ever accepted relegation as easily as this?
Its all staggering.

How do you invest £250m on a football club and make it worse than it was? That is some monumental fuckwittery right there.

I don't mind him but i'm not sure how much difference he would have made overall.

The SSN man is still standing at gates at BMH.

Why do I imagine him starting a Jonathan Pie style rant very soon.

Difference between finishing 20th and 17th this season will be between £4-6million. That's all Lerner was willing to spend (eg Kalinic). He doesn't see spending any more as worth it as he wants to sell. Don't expect him to spend in the summer as he is intent on asset stripping until he sells the club and I don't just mean players for all they're worth. I fear what could happen re VP and bmh.
In remi we trust. Fans should unite behind him and against Lerner and the board to preserve all things Aston Villa

I would not mind so much if they were having a complete clear out and getting rid of wankers like Richards, taking the hit on the Nzog contract, chucking out Bacuna, Gabby, Guzan.
Replacing with some Youth, even a couple of young and hungry signings to freshen it up.
At least it would show some intent as opposed to us just rotting away until the end of the season and being fed on by this bunch of mercenaries, misfits and cloggers.
A truly shocking state of affairs.

He's physically big and strong and will more of the ball than Westwood or Veretout.  This would have been a half decent signing I reckon.

I never thought I would feel this: I wish Deadly hadn't sold us to Lerner.

( I'm now going for a lie down in a darkened room)
